Over the past 13 years, Dream House for Medically Fragile Children has been blessed to serve over 1, 100 medically fragile children and their families. With great sadness, the Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to close Dream House. Thank you to all of our volunteers and supporters for your dedication, time, and financial backing.

Because these children still need help, we hope you will consider redirecting your support to another non-profit organization that serves this precious population. Here is a list of organizations that Dream House has partnered with over the years:

Fragile Kids provides wheelchair lifts for homes and vans, ramping, specialty seating, bathing equipment, toileting equipment, therapy bikes, strollers, and much more for the medically fragile children of Georgia.

Hope House offers respite through their Children’s Respite Center (for medically fragile children) and WeCare Respite® (for non-medically fragile children). Through Children’s Respite, parents of these special needs children can take some valuable time to rest and then resume caring for their children with renewed strength.

Childkind offers a continuum of services. Through its Placement Services program, Childkind offers foster care, permanency planning, and host home placement. With its Home Base Services program, Childkind provided Supportive Care Coordination, Family Support Services, and Advocacy & Training. During 2014, Childkind will be introducing in-home nursing services.
