Dream House is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization making it possible for medically complex children to live at home, instead of a hospital or nursing home.

NURTURE THE DREAM

Our Mission: Dream House increases the number of families and communities prepared to care for medically fragile children by:

  1. Providing educational programs and unique teaching environments for families and care givers;
  2. Assisting in the development of specially-equipped and accessible homes;
  3. Increasing community awareness about the lives and needs of medically fragile children;
  4. Creating opportunities for corporate and community partnerships focused on improving the quality of life for medically fragile children and their families.

Vision: Dream House empowers families to care for medically fragile children at home, improve their quality of life, and benefit the State of Georgia, the tax payers and healthcare institutions by providing a more efficient and effective way to care for them.

Purpose: Dream House increases opportunities for medically fragile children to live in stable, permanent home environments through the development of support resources and programs which increase the number of families and communities prepared to care for them.

Services: Providing medically complex children with temporary family-centered home care at the Family for Keeps® Transition Care Home is one of the primary ways Dream House empowers and provides support to enable families to care for their kids at home.

Dream House:
a Home, a Family, a Future

To touch a life
To mend a heart
To make the skies turn blue
To grant a wish
To give some hope
To make a dream come true
To dry a tear
To heal a wound
To make a future bright
To life a soul
To find the way
To do that which is right
To make a difference
To pass it on
To change a little space
To honor a gift
To fulfill a pledge
To make the world a better place.
