This Lithonia, Georgia 8-year-old has Cerebral Palsy. He had been on the Medicaid natural support waiver waiting list since 2003 for a stair lift. His parents felt carrying him up and down the stairs of their two-story home was becoming trecherous. After mother and son had a heart-stopping fall, they decided enough was enough.

Dream House secured a grant via Operation Round Up® from Snapping Shoals EMC. Thanks to their generous support, Dream House worked with local community contractors to purchase and install a stair lift.

Supervised by one of his parents, he now sits on this lift to ride safely up and down the stairs!
