NURTURE THE DREAM

About Dream House
Dream House is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization devoted to giving children with complex health issues the quality of life they deserve by helping them find their forever home with a family for keeps. We rely on private donations to operate our innovative Family for Keeps® Transition Care Programs and related services.

Our Motivation: Every Child Matters
A pediatric nurse for over 20 years, Dream House Founder and CEO Laura Moore identified a rapidly growing segment of her patient population, the medically fragile child. The medical technology that saves these children sustains them. Their care is very complex. However, many families find themselves unprepared, unable, or in some cases, unwilling to care for their children at home. Too many of these children continue to live out their lives in hospitals, adult nursing homes, or in foster care. Laura embarked on a crusade more than a decade ago to change the status quo for these precious kids. Read the Dream House story.

Community Impact
Since 2001, Dream House has served more than 1,000 medically fragile children in 53 Georgia counties, with the help of thousands of generous corporate and individual supporters, and volunteers.
