Living Proof

She was born at 24 weeks, weighing only 1 lb. 3 oz., and suffering from multiple internal disorders. When four months old, this helpless child became a Dream House baby.

Laura Kate, nearly six years old, is now growing up with her forever family. Her adoptive parents, Todd and Kelly, first fell in love with her as volunteers at the Dream House Family for Keeps® Transition Care Home. They became her foster parents when she was one year old. Before long, they made Laura Kate a permanent member of their young family.
