By June 2010, Mary Thorn had logged more than 400 hours in 10 months at the Dream House corporate office. "After working for years I was laid off," Mary said. "I am not used to staying at home, so I decided to volunteer at the Dream House office." Mary helps with administrative tasks, answering phones, often volunteering about 15 hours each week.
