Day in the Life
- Parenting a child with special healthcare needs
- Resources available to families with medically complex children
- Basic healthcare information, coping mechanisms, and helpful tips
Hands-on Skills Training
Licensed Professionals will instruct participants on a variety of skills that are needed to care for medically fragile children. Participants may practice at their own pace, and receive professional feedback regarding demonstration of proper technique.
Documentation:
Upon successful completion of the Family for Keeps® Basic Caregiver Class, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion.
