We Believe in Childhood

Medically fragile children lack the strength, skills or reasoning to cope with their situations. We believe that a child's needs must be met completely. Acute care facilities do not have the staff, programming or facilities to provide effective, long-term, holistic care for children with complex, persistent healthcare needs.  

We believe that children grow and develop best with a family, in a stable and nurturing home environment. Children have more meaningful, productive lives when they are an integrated part of their communities. 

Join the Circle of Support
Families caring for their medically fragile children at home need a support infrastructure. Business owners, civic and religious organizations, volunteer groups, and social service agencies are invited to participate with Dream House in collaborative efforts to prepare more families to care for medically fragile children in their own homes.
